1. So I don’t have to run after the bus.
2. So I don’t have to run after the bus and see the bus pull off.
3. So I don’t have to run after the bus, see it pull off and see the bus driver wave me off when I’m less than 10m away from the bus stop.
4. So I don’t have to run after the bus, see it pull off, see the bus driver wave me off, hop onto the internal shuttle bus to catch the bus in front.
5. So I don’t do all of the above and still not catch my bus.
6. So I don’t do all of the above when I’m so tired in the middle of a busy week.
The 4th dimension. We will arise. 2007 October 28, 2007

Arise and build 2007 starts next week. Today, Pastor talked about the 4th Dimension. Our natural world consists of Time, Space and Matter. The 4th Dimension is the realm of the Holy Spirit. What are the keys in the 4th Dimension?
1. Thinking
As you think, you are. Your life changes the moment your thinking changes. We should put on the mind of Christ, think God’s thoughts, think from His perspective. We should have a possibility mindset.
2. Believing
To believe is to make a decision. Heb 11. The way you show your faith is by praying. James 5:16. It’s one thing to have a promise, it’s another to pray through. When God gives us a vision and a dream, we must pray though. Matt 7:7 tells us to ASK, SEEK and KNOCK.
3. Dreaming
You get whatever you visualise. Gen 13:14-15, God only gave Abraham the land he could see. Gen 15:1-5, when Abraham was discouraged after so many years without a son, God helped Abraham to visualise his descendents by telling him to look at the stars. If you can’t see it, there’s no substance of faith. If I can see it, I can have it.
4. Speaking
Heb 11:3. The word became FLESH. Invisible —speak—> Visible. Mark 11:23. When you pray, speak it. Confess the rhema into existance.
When I watched the Arise and Build 2007 video, at the last part when they showed how the building might look like in the marketplace, I cried. Because it’s what we really want, it’s like a picture of the future. Our dream. Wish I could find the video to post up. Haha.
Pastor showed us pictures of iconic stadiums.
And where do we want it?
30,000
$22,000,000 Arise and Build 2007.
We will run after Your vision.
Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as in heaven.
Oh we also want to build a medical centre, hospice, MSCare centre, etc. to bless the people. And I’m going to work in the medical centre when it’s built. (positive confession hahahaha) I’m gonna be the head pharmacist there! Whooo….

The pharm believers are meeting up every friday. I’m really thankful for Peijing. Don’t know what I’d do without her haha. She’s really a blessing.
It’s good to be able to meet up and build each other up. We sing a worship song, then there’s testimony, and then someone will share. Sometimes we’ll pray for our class. Now we take turns sharing a word, and I think it’s good because it allows us to practice talking about such things. When we practice sharing among us, it makes it easier for us to talk to our friends about God, at least that’s what I think. Hope to see them more excited to take the word, because it’s really a privilege to share the word, and it’s a good opportunity to grow
Something good will come out of this.
Normally on fridays, before our morning lecture, Peijing and I will practice outside our LT. Sometimes people will come and say hi or sit with us. Singing is a good way to start the day
We actually had one meeting on the very first week of the sem. During the holidays, I felt that God wanted us to meet up. So I told Ari about it and a small group of us came together one morning on the first week of school. But it died off, partly because I got discouraged. Then during the mid-sem break, I felt like God was saying not to stop meeting up. I felt so inadequate. How can I start this thing? I doubt so much, and I’m so fearful. I’m afraid of what the others might think, afraid that we might not have time to meet, afraid that they won’t support this, afraid of the effort, afraid of being discouraged again. But I wanted to act on it, because I didn’t want God not to use me anymore. I mean, if He tells me to do something and I come up with all sorts of excuses not to do it, how can I do greater things for Him next time? Yeah… so I told PJ that I felt God telling us we should meet up, and she encouraged me. So that’s how it started.
We will shine like stars.
Shine His light, exactly where we are.
Bring Christ into our culture. Kristos Kai Kosmos.
And hopefully, we’ll be able to grow our group. We were even discussing how we should meet up during the December holidays. Even though some aren’t so regular and put other things above this, I believe the group of us who are faithful can influence and encourage the rest. Eventually, it’s all about God.
Hope that everyone will eventually catch the vision.

Well, the set meal was $8 or $9 and there was free flow of kimchi, ikan bilis, tofu, radish and vege. Not bad at all haha.. eat all we can before building fund!! Whooo… Been eating good food the past 2 sunday lunches hahaha

Man…I can’t believe I liked Corrinne May overnight.
I didn’t like her before. Didn’t like her voice. Hahaha.. then suddenly last night, I heard one song on youtube, the one I posted, and I liked her. Went to buy her cd today after service, together with John Mayer’s and James Blunt’s cos it was 3 cds for $49.90.
She’s really talented. She writes almost all her songs herself, they’re nice and meaningful…and yes, her voice is nice too. Hahaha.. A Singaporean who lives in an ang moh country, with an ang moh accent. I’ll get her other cds too one of these days.
I want to watch Resident Evil! Who wants to watch with me??

crazy week over! October 12, 2007

Yay my crazy week is over!
Yi Lun took my bible study class on wed! She’s the zone supervisor with one of the fastest growing zones and who graduated from SOT as top student last year. And boy, she’s good hahaha..
On wed, I was aching all over cos I played squash the previous day. I stayed in school to study for my IT test the next day and by 5pm, I was so tired. Went to the dispensing lab to wash my apparatus for the dispensing test on thurs and witnessed the year 4s doing their dispensing test, quite interesting. They swarmed to the cart to hand in their preparations at the last minute and it was a mess, with a lot of “where to put this, where to put this?”.
Decided to go home to put my stuff down cos it was really heavy and was so tired. So rushed home, ate dinner, and rushed to riverwalk. On the way to bs, I was troubled cos I kept thinking about how I was going to manage everything on thurs and fri. The craziest days. Then on the bus, I suddenly felt like I could just place everything in God’s hands, and everything will be alright. Realization. And then it was more peaceful.
BS was on the laying of hands. But she taught us more than that, adding in more input. Really good. I was really encouraged by her. She said that sometimes when leaders prophesy over people’s lives, you get very encouraged, because they do it out of love for you. When they speak with the love of God, it’s like God speaking directly to you, the same impact, because God is love.
It’s like God asking me, whether what I do, I do it out of love, or just for the sake of doing something. Most of the time, it’s the latter. Whatever we do, our motivation should be love.
She said something which spoke to me. She said, “Don’t think you’re not good enough for God to use you.”
And at that time, I really felt like I wasn’t good enough, cos I’m like a reed, not strong. So that encouraged me. I planned to take the message during friday (today)’s meeting with the pharm christians.
We’ve been meeting up for 2 weeks in a row now, and yes it’s going to continue..something good will come out of this :)
another crazy week October 9, 2007

This week’s another crazy week. I’ve 3 tests in two days. Thurs – IT test which accounts for 20% of the grade, Dispensing test, Fri – pharmstats test. Oh and I also have to hand in my Assignment 2 on Thurs. Whooohoo.. I will survive, I will survive!
Went to play squash with sean, jennifer and peijing today. Raymond tagged along but didn’t play. And I’m reminded that I’m supposed to exercise because vigorous exercise is good, in more ways than one. It’s good for my head too. Hahaha. It also gave me blisters.. ow.. but hey I’m not complaining…at least I’ve feet to get blisters on LOL. And ate a big mac meal right after my vigorous exercise
Muahahaha
Well…hopefully there’ll be less things to do next week?
