THIS IS YOUR SAVIOR – City Harvest Church
(Verse 1)
They shouted “crucify”
As He stumbled on road
Weight of the world, all the pain
The cross became His Load
He was innocent, yet accused and blamed
Sent to save a fallen world, to bear all our shame
(Verse 2)
They shouted “crucify”
As he climbed the lonely hill
Bearing the shame and the mocking crowd
While heaven and earth stood still
He was innocent, yet accused and blamed
Sent to save a fallen word, to bear all our shame
(Chorus)
This is your Savior
Pure Love of Heaven
Sent to Die on Calvary, to bear the sins of all
Rejected, cursed to die, Love silently Endured
His blood poured out an offering
At the foot of the Cross
(Verse 3)
They put a crown of thorns Upon His bleeding head
Whipped Him as He struggled on
He uttered not a word
(Pre-Chorus)
He was innocent, yet accused and blamed
Sent to save a fallen world, to bear all our shame
(Chorus)
This is your Savior
Pure Love of Heaven
Sent to Die on Calvary, to bear the sins of all
Rejected, cursed to die, Love silently Endured
His blood poured out an offering
At the foot of the Cross
(Bridge)
For the brokenhearted
For the poor, the weak
For the blind and searching
He shed His Blood for you and me
(Chorus)
This is your Savior
Pure Love of Heaven
Sent to Die on Calvary, to bear the sins of all
Rejected, cursed to die, Love silently Endured
His blood poured out an offering
At the foot of the Cross

Afshin’s testimony March 27, 2008

This testimony is so amazing. How often do you meet someone who yearns so much to know the truth, that he really goes all out to find it. So many people today, they go about their lives like routine and simply don’t bother or don’t want to open their eyes to more. So much more.
I see them everyday.
Even in a christian life, there can be so much more. Many people stop at salvation. But if you don’t hear the Word of God, if you don’t apply it, if you’re not willing to do what it takes or be committed, you won’t be able to experience the power of God much in your life. And that’s sad, because you cannot reach your fullest potential without God.
Well, here’s the testimony. Got it in an email from my aunt.

F.I.R. visit March 2, 2008

F.I.R. came to my church today, and it was absolutely phenomenal
Man, I’m so amazed. Fei-Er and Ah Qing are from New Life Church in Taiwan, and it’s just awesome to see their faith and commitment.
They performed a few of their songs tremendously well. Fei-Er’s voice is just so amazing, how she’s able to hit all the notes perfectly. And Ah Qing’s guitar skills too.. Hahaha.. so amazing. It was sooo cool to be able to see them perform on stage. I think I might just become an FIR fan, just like that. Hahaha.. Love their songs.
But most of all, it was really encouraging to hear their testimonies.
Fei-Er was actually a shy girl when she was schooling. She’d never imagine being able to perform in front of an audience. But when Fei-Er accepted Christ, she started to have confidence and to know who she is in Christ. And look at her now.
I was encouraged especially by Ah Qing. He just accepted Christ last year during our Emerge conference and was water baptised in December. Before he became a Christian, he couldn’t find meaning in life. There was one month, he just kept buying expensive guitars, one after another, hoping that it’ll satisfy him and make him happy. But after one guitar, he bought another, and another, and another. Nothing could fill his emptiness. Until he met God and was born again. Then things changed. Before he was born again, he could only write one song a month. But after that, he just couldn’t stop writing songs. The Holy Spirit began giving him creative ideas, new songs.
Even though he’s such a young Christian, he’s just so on fire for God. He says that New Life Church is quite demanding, almost every day of the week, there’ll be something on. And members are required to attend 2 services every week! But he said that even though Fei-Er and himself, they’re celebrities and are quite busy, they still manage to be actively involved in their church. Can you believe it? They’re F.I.R.! And they can attend 2 services a week, plus cell group and bible study and stuff. We should be ashamed of ourselves!
It shows that commitment to church and to God does not depend on how busy you are. It’s really your ATTITUDE towards church and towards God. And your priorities. How well you manage your time. What exactly you spend your time doing. If you spend most of your time on msn chatting, or watching tv, or going shopping, or fixing computers or doing other stuff without thinking about whether they’re truly important or not, obviously you’re going to feel like you don’t have time for other things. If you’re productive in what you do, and if you don’t do all those things which are quite useless and time-consuming, then you’ll have a lot of time freed up. “No Time” should never be an excuse, because everyone’s given 24 hours a day.
If Pastor Kong can do it, if F.I.R. can do it, then you can do it.
